Misty View of GrandBay From Morne Anglais

photo of grandbay village in Dominica
The view of Grandbay from Morne Anglais is breathtaking, the only drawback of being so high is the cloud cover. But on a clear day I can just imagine the spectacular of Roseau, loubiere, Bellevue, etc

Goodwill Road

 goowwill road in Dominica

There are no major highway(s) in Dominica - unlike most of the other Caribbean islands (i.e. Barbados and Trinidad). The closing thing to a highway in Dominica, is the recently renovated Goodwill Road which takes motorist in and out the city of Roseau - see the above photo.

Cork Street

Do I really need to remind which street this is? Well, I guess the title already gave it way. If you’re Dominican, you must have walked or driven down Cork Street because it’s usually one of the busiest streets in Roseau; but picture above was taken on a Sunday morning. That’s explains why the street is not congested with parked vehicles and crazy Dominicans running all over. Just kidding… Enjoy this DDP.

Cartwheel Cafe

Cartwheel Café is my favorite little art deco-style slash contemporary Café on the Dame Eugenia Charles Bolivar (or Bayfront) ; that offers delicious omelets breakfast, fish/chicken lunches, sandwiches, and all sorts of fresh local juices. I highly recommend Cafewheel Cafe, if you’re looking for small quiet place in Roseau, that server’s great food.

Open Monday-Friday 8 am-2:30 pm, Saturday 8 am-noon. Waterfront(or Bayfront), Roseau, Dominica. Phone 1-767-448-5353.
