Yesterday I showed you the view from the Portsmouth Beach Jetty, today I'm giving you an an overall view of how the beach looks -Beautiful right!

I just love the feel of the warm sea sand between my toes while walking along the beach. It's so peaceful there - definitely helps forget about the not so important things. When I'm there it's about me (me time!)

Portsmouth Beach Jetty

Two months ago liuda (My fiancée) and I , just decided to get on a bus and head down to Portsmouth. If you've never been to Dominica, Portsmouth in the second largest town on the island. And it has become one of our favorite places to go relax, especially on a day when the beach is not crowded.

On a beautiful sunny day - it's really a amazing view. (highly recommend you go visit Portsmouth beach)

A little Trivia for you
Ross university school of Medicine, which is the biggest US medical university in the Caribbean is located in Portsmouth,Dominica. Ross was founded in 1978, the School of Medicine is celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2008.

To date, Ross graduates can practice in all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico. This includes the formal approval the School has received in the critical states of NY, NJ, FL and CA.
